Ever wondered how to do all of those crazy yoga arm balances? Maybe you’d like to do a headstand without falling over? Maybe you already know this stuff and would like to take your practice a little further.
This beginner-level workshop will cover the foundations of arm balancing, the technicalities of leaving the ground on our hands, and the playful mindset needed to maintain the balance. Contrary to popular belief, balancing on your arms does not mean having immense upper body strength, but rather learning to shift your weight, engaging other muscle groups, and counter-balancing so your arms hold the least amount of weight possible. Some call it the art of weightlessness.

Arm balances are liberating postures that teach us not only about our intrinsic power, but about our innate playfulness, courage, fearlessness, and agility.
